After almost four hours, I have finally finished Aries. I'm rather happy with the final result. Of course, it's not perfect, but I worked hard on it and I am proud to claim it as my own. :) Time for a break (which really means that it's time to scour deviantArt for cool people XD).

Okay, 2 and a half hours in. I'm pretty happy with the face now. Next is the hair. The most tedious part. D: So, before I begin drawing his hair (and ripping out mine!) I'm going to call it a night and continue tomorrow. Which means, hopefully, I can finish my little Aries this weekend! :D I will post another WIP. Again, I'm pretty happy with the face right now. Any tweeks I make now will probably just be some more dynamic shading to give him a little more life. Hah! He's starting to feel like my child! XD

I'm an hour and a half into my first drawing in my upcoming Western Zodiac series. I decided to go in the right order by starting with Aries, which is the first sign in the Western Zodiac. So far, it's going pretty well. I just bought some proper drawing pencils and they are WONDERFUL. After using a crappy Bic #2 pencil for the past few months, it is a welcome change. So, this is just a little journal update because I've decided to take a short break to give my eyes, and my hand, a little rest. I'll upload a WIP just in case anyone is curious. :)
